Our team offers genuine support and knowledgeable advice, covering all aspects of the NDIS process and disability services sector.
Unlike other advisors we also understand from personal experience, through the needs of our own families in the disability support sector. Our initial difficulty in being able to access independent services to assist us negotiate the sector led us to form Peak Plan Management, as a division of Peak Accounting Group Chartered Accountants.
I founded Peak Plan Management as a response to the need for independent plan management to assist NDIS participants nationally.
I noticed how many organisations were providing plan management as part of their disability service provider business, which can cause a potential for conflict of interest where they only recommend services they offer and not seek the best service for the NDIS recipient.
The result of this could potentially limit the ability of clients to choose and control the services they want.
Being an independent plan manager means we work for you and not a disability service provider. We allow you complete choice and control over how you spend your fund and what services you select to meet your needs.
Because I have family members that require a NDIS plan I have experienced the difficulties negotiating the complex and time-consuming process of dealing with the NDIS and the disability service providers.
My experience has driven my passion to provide independent advice and a plan management service that uses our expertise to build the capacity of our clients.
We do this by giving clients choice and control while alleviating the pressure of managing their plan to ensure all recipients maximise the effectiveness of their funds from their NDIS Plan.
I am a qualified Chartered Accountant with 20 years’ experience, and my main objective is to make our clients’ lives as simple as possible by removing the burden of managing and administering a NDIS Plan.
I saw the need for independent plan management and advice when a family member started to manage their NDIS plan. My own experience has highlighted how complex the rules and processes are to effectively provide the support and services my family required through managing an NDIS plan.
I decided to establish Peak Plan Management to offer a service to NDIS recipients and their families that was easy to understand and simple to use. I wanted to ensure they could focus on achieving the best support outcome and to not experience the difficulties I did trying to manage the process.
Client Liaison Officer
Jodie Cox has joined our team in North Queensland, as Client Liaison Officer. Jodie is a bookkeeper with a history in customer service and small business management.
She is keen to assist participants and their families transition into their NDIS plan by supporting the plan management process on a local level. Jodie is married with three children and lives in Cairns.
