What is special and unique about how Plan Managers work to help participants get the most out of their plans?

I believe the support of Plan Managers is a very important part of the participants’ journey as it gives them and their family members freedom to look after themselves and not having to worry about the administration of their plans.

What skills and experience from your previous roles now make you a great plan manager?

Being in a business as the owner and operator for over 20 years, I understand the importance of building trust and delivering the highest quality products and services. At Peak Plan Management, I use that knowledge to listen to participants and meet their needs in the best way possible.

How does the teamwork at Peak Plan Management deliver positive outcomes for participants?

Peak Plan Management takes pride in the way we build relationships with participants and their families.

What makes your role as a plan manager so satisfying?

I have great local knowledge and I love working alongside Support Coordinators and Local Area Coordinator to use participants’ plans to the fullest.

What part of your job makes you feel most proud?

The first three weeks with a new participant are very important.  I ensure participants are well-connected with providers and organise a well-structured plan. I always let participants know that l am only a phone call away.

I think the key to building great relationships is keeping regular contact, and clearly explaining the process of how plan management can help take the participant’s stress away.
